GSI 5000 Clustered Storage System
High-Performance Scalable Storage Architecture
The GSI 5000 clustered storage system architecture consists of independent nodes that are integrated with the GSI-OS system software. The system supports Windows, Unix/Linux, and Mac operating systems based on basic file sharing standards. The nodes in the system communicate with each other via 40 Gbps or 100 Gbps network lines, ensuring near-zero latency. With a highly redundant design, the system ensures data safety in case of hard drive failures or even a single node failure.
The system is easily scalable up to 10 PB by adding new nodes to the cluster. The GSI 5000 is fully integrated with the GSI 3000 system to facilitate the storage of processed data.
